(A review of Laundry)One of my favourite films I have seen in the past couple years. It's a little slower paced in parts which might turn some people off, but I was gripped the entire time. The music is beautiful and set the tone even before the movie had really started. Highly recommended.

Good, but not necessarily award winning

(A review of The Twilight Samurai)With an oscar nomination and a floor mopping at the Japanese Academy in 2003 I had expected something amazing from Twilight Samurai. It was good, but there was nothing special about it. It was a samurai movie. That's all.

Not worth it

(A review of Dog Star)The description of the movie sounded like it would be a decent flick to watch with the girlfriend but it was a total disaster. How many people have to die in a love story?? Maybe if I would have watched it in a different mindset it would have been different, but I doubt it. Stay away from this one.
